Since 1991, our clients have enjoyed incredible sound quality, impressive video displays, and helpful IT support.
We opened our computer services division in 2007, then merged with Lafayette PC in 2014. This helped us better serve people who were tired of slow or unhelpful responses from other providers.
Through the years, we’ve kept up with the ever-changing industry and helped hundreds of clients enjoy innovative solutions like automated home lights and locks, custom audio/video systems, effective IT support, and more.

Brian Messer
COO
Brian moved to the Greater Lafayette area when he was accepted into Purdue's Engineering program in 2000. It was then that he and Tina started their lives together and were happy to call Lafayette their home.
He soon found that most of his free time was spent learning and enjoying all things computer and audio video related. Through education, experience, and certifications he was able to gain a high level of expertise in these areas that he was so passionate about.
With 20 years’ experience managing technology for client's homes and businesses, he continually looks at his client's entire environment and focuses on consistency and improvements.
You'll find him spending his personal time researching new approaches or technologies that help to deliver a better solution. He enjoys finding big or small ways to constantly improve the products and services that Sound Advice delivers.
Tina Messer
President
Tina graduated from Purdue University with a bachelors in nursing and has over 15 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse and in client education.
In 2012 Tina became the owner of Sound Advice. She had the idea to take the client focused approach she learned in her nursing and education career and apply that to the services Sound Advice delivers.
Tina was confident that keeping a focus on our clients while managing their technical needs would have Sound Advice stand out compared to other companies in our industry. "We're here to help people and we use technology to accomplish that."
